The Graduate Hall Coordinator for Housing and Residence Life will be responsible for the supervision of the Resident Advisors as well as Assistant Hall Coordinators and staffing of residential security desks. This person will share that responsibility with a fellow Graduate Hall Coordinator. The Graduate Hall Coordinator will share responsibility for recruitment, selection, and training of desk worker staff. The Graduate Hall Coordinator will coordinate the Front Desk Secret Shopper program and the annual desk worker evaluation processes. The Graduate Hall Coordinator will communicate with various university departments (Department of Public Safety and Security Services, Facilities, Parking and Card Services, Information Technology Services) regarding issues surrounding the desk. The Graduate Hall Coordinator will assist with various department projects and committee opportunities. The Graduate Hall Coordinator for Housing and Residence Life, supervised by a Residence Hall Coordinator, is a vital member of the residence hall community and the Housing and Residence Life Staff. The Graduate Hall Coordinator for Housing and Residence Life is expected to work with the Assistant Directors, Residence Hall Coordinators, the Associate Director, and other Departmental Staff in the development and implementation of management and programming objectives for the entire Residence Life operation.
